Miss Universe 2022 will be held in early 2023
According to the Puerto Rican news site, El Vocero has confirmed the 71st Edition of the Miss Universe 2022 beauty pageant has been moved to early 2023. The host country and the final date has not been announced yet but according to the email received by the national directors, the Miss Universe organization will make an announcement about the host country and date very soon. There are few nations who have shown keen interest to host the next edition of Miss Universe beauty pageant which includes Puerto Rico, Vietnam and the United States.
In the same article, Jorge Perez who is the regional director of ASM Global, he has confirmed that Puerto Rico has shown interest to host Miss Universe 2023 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It is still uncertain whether Puerto Rico will host the 2022 edition early next year or the 2023 edition which is going to be held at the end of 2023. In the Southeast Asian country of Vietnam which once hosted the spectacular edition of Miss Universe 2008 which garnered worldwide applause, the Vietnamese management is also considering hosting the 71st edition of the pageant year. If no international country bids to host the Miss Universe pageant then it will be back in the United States which is the headquarters of the organization.
