Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 is Đoàn Thiên Ân
Last night, was the spectacular grand coronation night of the Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 held in Ho Chi Minh City on October 1. The reigning Miss Grand International 2021, Nguyễn Thúc Thùy Tiên from Vietnam crowned her successor Đoàn Thiên Ân as Miss Grand Vietnam 2022. She will represent the South East Asian country of Vietnam at the upcoming Miss Grand International 2022 in Indonesia.
Overall, 49 delegates from all over Vietnam came to win the coveted title of Miss Grand Vietnam 2022. The winner was Đoàn Thiên Ân 22 years old beauty from Long An province. Currently, a student at the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City. Recently, she lost weight 15kg before the contest from 75kg to 60kg at the moment, to prepare for this competition which surprised the netizens due to her hard work and dedication. In just about 4 months, she lost 15kg in a short period. She has a charming personality, and elegance, standing at a towering height of 175cm tall 5 feet 9 inches tall with impressive body measurements of 88.5-66-98cm. Đoàn was a dark horse in the competition in a pool of many fan favorites, she was humble and gave a fabulous performance during preliminary and the final night competitions. Last night, she was awarded Best Presentation subtitle.
The final Question asked to Đoàn was about – Her views on today’s youth living different lifestyles compared to the previous generation. Are the youth independent, selfish, and ignorant? She replied that in place of criticizing young people, they should find out the main cause, and root of the issue, then help them find a solution and understand them better instead of judging anyone else. Education is a fundamental solution to building and sustaining a healthy family. Her answer received huge support and applause from the large audience in the venue.
Đoàn Thiên Ân was crowned Miss Grand Vietnam crown, made of 18K gold, embellished with many precious stones found all over the country and she was awarded a prize of 400 million Vietnam Dong, $16,760. Besides her, the rest of the Top 5 finalists were 1st runner-up Chế Nguyễn Quỳnh Châu, 2nd runner-up Trần Tuyết Như and 3rd and 4th runner-ups were Trần Nguyên Minh and Ngô Thị Quỳnh Mai respectively. The national organization of Miss Grand Vietnam – Hoa Hậu Hòa Bình Việt Nam give Đoàn Thiên Ân the title of Inspiring Beauty.
