Miss Grand International 2023 will be the 11th edition of the Miss Grand International pageant, to be held on October 25, 2023, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This will be the second time Vietnam to host the contest; the first was in 2017 at the Vinpearl Convention Center on Phú Quốc island. The winner of Miss Grand International 2022, Isabella Menin of Brazil will crown her successor at the end of the event. On 25 June 2022, the organizer of the Miss Grand International pageant, MGI PLC, announced on their official social media that the 11th edition of the contest was scheduled to be held in Vietnam on 20 October 2023, however, the final venue of the event has not been revealed yet. The MOU signing ceremony between the MGI PLC and the local organizer Sen Vàng Entertainment for the agreement to organize the contest later took place during the press conference of the inaugural edition of the Miss Grand Vietnam contest at Sofitel Saigon Plaza in Ho Chi Minh City on 7 June 2022, and the international press release was later conducted at Saigon South Marina Club on 5 July. As per the press conference additionally held on February 5, 2023, the Miss Grand International 2023 pageant will consist of six main sub-events, including the Best in Swimsuit contest, Vietnamese costume parade, closed-door interview, national costume contest, preliminary competition, and the grand final coronation night. However, the exact date of each event has not been revealed yet.
Miss Grand Canada Yuliya Shcherban
Age: 22 Height: 178cm (5 feet 10 inches) Hometown: Lloydminster
She is studying Bachelor of Commerce degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Toronto (Rotman Commerce program). Yuliya is a Ukrainian Canadian who is proud to call Canada her home for the past 15 years. Dedicated to her studies, Yuliya excelled as a student, graduating high school at the top of her class, receiving the Governor General’s Academic Medal, and attaining an SAT score in the top 1% of students worldwide. Currently, in her final year of undergraduate studies, she is completing a Finance and Economics specialist at Rotman Commerce at the University of Toronto, where she is a U of T Scholar and has made it to the Dean’s List. Furthermore, she completed an exchange program at one of the world’s leading universities for business and management, Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. In 2017, Yuliya and four of her friends founded the Beba Project, a charitable initiative helping mothers with infants in need in her local community. By operating coffee shops across schools in her hometown, Yuliya and the Beba Project raised over $4,000 for diapers and baby supplies for infants in the local community within the first year alone, and the Beba Project continues in Yuliya’s high school to this day. As much as she is proud to be a Canadian, Yuliya also honors her cultural roots as a Ukrainian. She won the title of Miss Ukrainian Canada 2018 in a competition celebrating Ukrainian culture, arts, talent, and beauty. She also delivered a speech at a Pecha Kucha event, narrating her challenges of growing up as an immigrant and her journey toward embracing her ethnic background. As a result of her dedication to her heritage, Yuliya has appeared as the cover model for the Chicago-based Ukrainian People magazine in 2018, her first magazine cover feature. As a professional model, she has also walked at fashion shows and has most recently been published in the Winter 2022 edition of Chaarmz magazine.
Miss Grand Gibraltar Jaylynn Cruz
Age: 26 Hometown: Gibraltar
Jaylynn Cruz, 26 years of age, is currently preparing to represent Gibraltar at Miss Grand International 2023. Cruz works as a teacher specializing in special educational needs and disabilities. Miss Gibraltar 2022 was the first ever pageant she competed in where she placed as the 1st Princess. “My younger self has always looked up to the Miss Gibraltar contestants and I wanted to be a part of it”, she spoke in an interview. Being a special needs teacher, Cruz is a big advocate for inclusivity. She is using her platform to help communicate and promote this. Recently, Jaylynn has also hosted some coffee mornings at school to raise funds for different charities.
Miss Grand Guatemala Raschel Paz
Age: 22 Height: 180cm (5 feet 11 inches) Hometown: Guatemala City
Miss Grand Guatemala organization took to their official social media as they announced Guatemala’s representative to Miss Grand International 2023. Raschel Alexandra Paz is the officially appointed Miss Grand Guatemala 2023 who succeeds Miss Grand Guatemala 2022, Andrea Radford. Raschel Alexandra Paz is 22 years of age and stands 180 cm tall. Paz holds a degree in Political Studies and International Relations and stands out as a Professional Model in the world of fashion. Fluent in Spanish, English, French, and German, Paz is a strong orator. Aside from her education and professional work, Paz is passionate about catwalks, basketball, swimming, karate, jiu-jitsu, and horseback riding. As part of her social work, the Guatemalan beauty queen is part of an NGO legally established in Guatemala where she serves as a Human Rights Ambassador providing support to young people and women survivors of physical and psychological violence, through the Unit for Attention to Victims.
Miss Grand Honduras Britthany Marroquin
Age: 20 Hometown: Copán
Miss Grand Honduras 2022 was the inaugural edition of the Miss Grand Honduras beauty pageant, held at La Galería in Tegucigalpa on July 10, 2022. Eighteen candidates representing 18 departments of Honduras competed for the national title, of whom Saira Cacho Álvarez of the Colón Department was named the winner. She then represented the country at the Miss Grand International 2022 pageant held on October 25 in Indonesia, where she was placed among the top 20 finalists, making her the first Honduran representative to obtain the position at Miss Grand International. In addition to crowning the 2022 representative, Honduran candidates for the Miss Grand International 2023 and Reina Internacional del Cacao 2022 pageants, Britthany Marroquin of Copán and Maryann Espinoza of Atlántida, were respectively determined in the same event.
Miss Grand Myanmar Ni Ni Lin Eain
Age: 23 Height: 170cm (5 feet 7 inches) Hometown: Mudon
Ni Ni Lin Eain was crowned Miss Grand Myanmar 2023 at an event held on 23rd November 2022 as she became the official representative of Myanmar at Miss Grand International 2023. She is the successor and was crowned by Miss Grand Myanmar 2022 Ei Ei Aung Htunt. Ni Ni Lin Eain was handpicked as no national competition for selecting the 2023 edition’s representative was held. Ni Ni currently lives in Woodlands, Singapore. She speaks fluent English and her dedication makes her a strong contender for the Miss Grand International crown. The stunning Myanmar beauty is 23 years of age and stands 5 feet 7 inches tall. She works as a freelance model in her country. Ni NI Lin Eain has stunning features, an amicable personality, and the drive to do better to win the first Miss Grand International crown for her country.
Miss Grand Panama Julia Leong

This beautiful Panamanian is a 26-year-old businesswoman, tourism ambassador, and master’s student from La Chorrera, Panama West province. She is bilingual, with a degree in finance and international business. She is currently studying project management. She also actively participates as a volunteer in the national association against cancer, and the Panama Joven Foundation and cares for the environment, since she loves to serve and be available to the community.
Miss Grand Paraguay Maelia Salcines
Age: 28 Height: 166cm (5 feet 5.5 inches) Hometown: Fernando De La Mora
Maelia is a 28-year-old beauty queen who works as a professional author and model standing at the height of 166cm 5 feet 5.5 inches tall hailing from the United States of America. She is not a stranger to pageantry, she had previously joined the Miss Texas USA state pageant where she placed third runner-up and won Miss Congeniality. She also competed in Reinas del Paraguay 2022 (Miss Universe Paraguay) where she bagged Mejor Piel (Best Skin) and Reina del Publico (Queen of the Public) awards. The candidates chosen through either the regional pageants or national preliminary casting will compete for the title. Miss Grand Paraguay 2022, Agatha Leon of Ciudad del Este, and gain the right to represent the country at Miss Grand International 2023, to be held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on 25 October 2023.
Miss Grand Spain Celia Sevilla
Age: 22 Height: 173cm (5 feet 8 inches) Hometown: Albacete
Celia is 22 years of age and stands 173 cm tall. She represented Toledo at the national competition besting thirty-three contestants to win Miss Grand Spain 2023 crown. Celia is studying for a double degree in Law and International Relations in Toledo. She is the first winner to come from Castilla-La Mancha.
Miss Grand Venezuela Valentina Martínez
Age: 23 Height: 174cm (5 feet 8.5 inches) Hometown: Puerto La Cruz
Valentina Martinez is 22 years of age and describes herself as a responsible and determined woman. She has beautiful tanned skin, perfect curves, and an angelic face, Valentina Martínez Landkoer is going to be a strong candidate for the international platform. Valentina has a degree in Social Communications and is a dancer while her hobby is traveling. On winning Miss Grand Venezuela 2023, she took to her social media as she wrote, “And among a sea of ?? emotions, feelings and with trembling hands, I write these lines to be able to say Anzoátegui we did it! My life changed from the moment I decided to be strong and fight for my dreams, to show myself that I can do anything and that I have the power to decide what I want for my life.” “With tears in my eyes and my heart coming out of my chest, I want to say Thank You Venezuela. Thank you for so much love and for believing in me. It will be a year where I will prepare hard to leave the name of my country in style. There is still a long way to go, but I will leave my heart in every step I take, for me, for you, and for my country, Venezuela”, she added.
