The former Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2019 and Miss Universe 2019 1st Runner-Up Madison Anderson became the first Puerto Rican to win La Casa de los famosos Season 3 (English: The Celebrity House) with the grand prize of USD 200,000. This was the edition of the Latin American – Spanish language version of Big Brother where celebrities from Latin America stayed at the same house for 98 days. On the grand coronation night, Puerto Rico’s Madison Anderson became the eventual winner with Mexican actress Patricia “Paty” Navidad as the runner-up. The first housemates were announced on December 6, 2022. In addition to the regular celebrity housemates, two civilian housemates were chosen by the public to become part of the cast, making this the first season to feature civilians living in the house. Madison made a great impression on the viewers of the show as she was voted the winner due to her elegance and professionalism. She proved to everyone that being a beauty queen is more than just a beautiful face but the responsibility it comes with the title. Madison has a purpose to also use this platform to be an example to young women and you bet she did just that! What a pleasure it was to follow her journey these 3 months and fall in love with her all over again. 4 years after her Miss Universe journey. In the show, she said โIโm a loser. I never win anything. I couldnโt even win Miss Universe.โ The Universe had its plan and Madi got her BIG winning moment.
One of the most memorable things she said during her stay in the house was. “I am so much more than the physical.., than an image… I am here to teach the world that beauty starts in your heart. Internal beauty is a real beauty. That is beauty. This. no.. really, that’s also why I am here to break barriers and stereotypes. So people can get to know more for who I am.”

She shouldnโt call herself a loser. I bet other girls wish they had been 1st runner up at Miss Universe. At least she placed just like at Miss Grand and Miss Florida USA and won Miss Puerto Rico.
