Miss World 2023 Official Delegates

Miss World 2023 is the 71st Edition of the oldest running international beauty pageant. It will be held in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates on December 2023. Miss World 2021-22 Karolina Bielawska of Poland will crown her successor at the end of the event. On 13 February 2023, Julia Morley, chairperson of the Miss World Organization, announced that the competition will take place in the United Arab Emirates in 2023. “Further details to follow,” Morley added, referring to the final date and the venue of the pageant. Here are the official delegates of the Miss World 2023 beauty pageant. As of 11 February 2023, 83 contestants have been confirmed:

Miss World Albania – Elona Ndrecaj Age: 22 Hometown: Tirana
She is 19-year-old Angela from Krujë is a Fashion Model and Law Student at the Mediterranean University of Albania. Angela Tanuzi was crowned Miss World Albania 2022 at the national final held at Venom Club on 10th June broadcast live on Vizion Plus. Angela succeeds Miss World Albania 2021, Amela Agastra.

Miss World Angola – Florinda José Age: 21 Hometown: Luanda
Florinda José is 22 years of age and an education science student from Benguela. Her dedication, beauty, intelligence and a lot of self-discipline won her the national crown.

Miss World Australia – Kristen Wright Age: 23  Hometown: Melbourne
Kristen Wright is 23-year-old biomedical student and certified scuba diving instructor from Victoria. Her Beauty with a Purpose project, Educate Resuscitate spreads awareness about water safety including the importance of CPR and first aid training. Kristen said: “Australia I am so honored to represent you on the international stage at Miss World and words cannot describe how grateful I am for the opportunity to take the Educate Resuscitate Project internationally.”

Miss World Belize – Elise Vernon Age: 21 Hometown: Biscayne
21-year-old Elise-Gayonne Vernon was crowned Miss World Belize 2022. Vernon, who hails from the village of Biscayne in the Belize District, is a young farmer and certified beekeeper.

Miss World Bolivia  – Fernanda Rivero Age: 20 Hometown: Santa Cruz
Fernanda Rivero is 20-year-old and currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in International Trade. On her crowning Fernanda said: “First of all, thanks to God and to all my beautiful country for giving me this great opportunity to be able to call me Bolivia in the Miss World Pageant.” Fernanda will represent Bolivia at the 71st Miss World Final, where reigning Miss World, Karolina Bielawska will crown her successor.
Miss World Botswana – Lesego Chombo Age: 22 Hometown: Gaborone
Lesego Chombo is a fully qualified practicing attorney also took the Beauty With A Purpose title on a night that she will surely never forget “I can’t believe what’s happening” said Lesego- “3 weeks ago I stopped my legal work, so that I could concentrate on the MIss Botswana title – now its all been worthwhile!”

Miss World Brazil – Leticía Frota Age: 19 Hometown: Manaus
Letícia Frota makes history as the first from Amazonas to win the title. The 19-year-old a student of psychology who recently spent a season in Canada studying English, became the first woman from the state of Amazonas to be crowned Miss World Brazil.

Miss World British Virgin Islands – Xaria Penn Age: 19 Hometown: Tortola
18 years old when she was crowned Miss British Virgin Islands 2021 on September 25, 2021. she entered H. Lavity Stoutt Community College in Paraquita Bay, British Virgin Islands.

Miss World Bulgaria – Kristiyana Yordanova Age: 26 Hometown: Varna
Kristiyana Yordanova is 24 years of age and an author and psychology and neuroscience student at the University of British Columbia. The Bulgarian beauty will represent Bulgaria at the 71st Miss World. Kristiyana Yordanova is of Bulgarian Canadian descent. Not new to the pageantry, she participated in the Miss World Canada 2022 and placed in the Top 15. As a mental health advocate, Kristiyana has also started ‘Woman Squared’ to use her platform for an open conversation and change the narrative about women in society.

Miss World Cambodia – Sary Sovattey Age: 24 Hometown: Kratie
Sary Sovattey is a graduate from the Royal University of Phnom Penh and currently works as an actress and model. She is strong advocate for education and teaches underprivileged children. During the covid-19 pandemic Sovattey became a teacher when there was a shortage.

Miss World Cameroon – Julia Samantha Edima Age: 27 Ebolowa
Julia Samantha Edima works as an actress, has a masters degree in Business Communication and is an advocate for mental health. Her ambition is to open a psychiatric centre in support of people with mental health disorders.

Miss World Canada – Jaime Vandenberg Age: 25 Hometown: Lethbridge
Jaime VandenBerg 25-year-old is studying to become a Lawyer and works as a model. She is also a Diana Award recipient for her humanitarian work and social change efforts. Jaime’s Beauty with a Purpose project focuses on women empowerment and gender equality. Jaime created Canada Herstory, a multi-faceted empowerment platform to encourage young women to follow their dreams in a safe and supportive manner.

Miss World Cayman Islands – Leanni Tibbetts Age: 25 Hometown: George Town
Leanni Tibbetts, 25, hails from George Town.  Leanni is a Pilot / Coast Guard. She would like to represent women who are different and break the status quo. If crowned MWCI, she would like use her platform to dedicate her focus on environmental initiatives. She lives by the saying “Be the change”. Leanni would like to see more women on the ‘world’ stage who do not fit the stereotypical definition of femininity.

Miss World Chile – Ámbar Zenteno Age: 27 Hometown: Las Condes
Ambar Zenteno is 27 years old and she is a chemical civil engineer who now works at finance technology company. Suffering from dysautonomia, Ambar serves as an ambassador for a Chilean organization that raises awareness of the disease.

Miss World Colombia – Camila Pinzón Age: 26 Hometown: Duitama
Camila Andrea Pinzón is multilingual and she is fluent in Spanish, English, French and Italian. She earned her degree in Administration and Languages at Sorbonne University in Paris. She also holds two masters degree in Marketing and International Business. Aside from her academic attainment, Camila is also an international model and has developed an extensive career in ramp modelling and photography in Europe.

Miss World Costa Rica – Krisly Salas Age: 24 Hometown: Alajuela
Krisly Salas to represent Costa Rica at the 71st Miss World Final 24-year-old Krisly Salas from Alajuela was elected Miss World Costa Rica 2022 during the live final broadcast on 20th February on Trivision 36. Krisly is a nutrition student and founder of the social project “Cuenta Conmigo”. The purpose of the project is to be a voice of encouragement to those who suffer from anxiety and depression. On her crowning Krisly said: “Grateful for the people around me, who have accompanied me throughout these years in every goal, desire and project! I am a blessed woman.”

Miss World Côte d’Ivoire – Marlène-Kany Kouassi Age: 23 Hometown: Aboisso
Marlene Kany Kouassi is Miss World Côte d’Ivoire 2022 will represent her nation in the upcoming Miss World 2022. She is Master in Business Law, Literary Advocate, Photo Model and EXCELLENCE CHOICE OF IVORIAN BEAUTY! My goal today is to prove to the young woman that you can achieve your goals when you apply enough willpower, courage and hard work.

Miss World Curaçao – Nashaira Balentien Age: 25 Hometown: Willemstad
Nashaira Belisa Balentien is 25 years of age and a philanthropist, entrepreneur, and future lawyer. Not new to the pageantry, Nashaira previously held the title Miss Universe Curacao 2017. She went on to represent Curacao in Miss Universe 2017 which was held in USA but unfortunately failed to place in the Top 16 semi-finalists.

Miss World Czech Republic – Krystyna Pyszková Age: 23 Hometown: Třinec
Krystyna Pyszková was crowned by Taťána Kuchařová, Miss World 2006. 23-year-old Krystyna is a Law student at Charles University in Prague. She also volunteers for the Sonta Foundation in Tanzania, teaching English to underprivileged children. Krystyna said: “I’m so grateful! It was an unbelievable journey and I can’t wait what will come next.” Krystyna will represent Czech Republic at the 71st Miss World Final, where reigning Miss World, Karolina Bielawska will crown her successor.

Miss World Ecuador – Annie Zámbrano Age: 22 Hometown: Salinas
She is the President CONAGOPARE Santa Elena 2019 – 2023 and GAD President.

Miss World England – Jessica Gagen Age: 26 Hometown: Skelmersdale
She is 26 year old Aerospace engineering student. As well as being an internationally signed model, she is studying for a masters degree in aerospace engineering and have dreams of becoming an astronaut one day! She is passionate about showcasing opportunities in STEM careers to girls and did so last year by running 5k for 96 days consecutively in Fancy Dress as part of her Beauty with a Purpose fundraising, eventually placing 2nd in the 2021 Miss England Final!

Miss World Equatorial Guinea – Trifonia Vanila Andeme Age: 20 Hometown: Ebibeyin
Trifonia Vanila Andeme is 20 years of age and a hotel receptionist by profession. She is a preuniversity student who represented the district of Ebibeyen. Vanila also won the title of Miss Popular at the competition. Vanila aspires to be a lawyer in the future with the goal to one day open a law firm that focuses on cases of sexual abuse and gender-based violence. The stunning beauty is also bilingual and fluently speaks English and French.

Miss World Estonia – Adriana Mass Age: 21 Hometown: Pärnu
Adriana Mass is 21 years of age and a violinist by profession. She is a student from Pärnu. She studied violin at the Tallinn Music School and currently pursuing social work and rehabilitation management at the University of Tartu. Next to music, she considers her biggest achievement to be her participation in the international project “Be your own best friend”, which she was able to draw attention to in cooperation with ENVTL for health problems of children and young people.

Miss World France – Clémence Botino Age: 26 Hometown: Baie-Mahault
Clémence Botino comes from Guadeloupe and is 25 years of age. She is a French historian and a model by profession. She was born in Baie-Mahault, Guadeloupe, France to an Afro-Caribbean and European father and an Indo-Caribbean mother. She was raised in Le Gosier, Guadeloupe. Botino is fluent in French and English. In 2018, she enrolled in Sorbonne University in Paris, France where she pursued a master’s degree in art history. Clemence Botino is a member of the French association Les Bonnes fées, which helps women who suffer from precariousness and disease. Clemence believes that school and education are the main keys to success.

Miss World Ghana – Miriam Xorlasi Age: 22 Hometown: Battor
Miriam is 22 years of age and a proud teacher who loves to enlighten others with knowledge. She wishes to own a renowned restaurant and a home for the aged. Miriam is passionate about the Aged and her mission is to further her project which is to support the sick aged because she believes it is one area which has been overlooked in the society. Aside from being a teacher, Miriam is also passionate about helping the aged. She would be working with the Miss Ghana Foundation to support the senior members of their community who are suffering from various sicknesses.

Miss World Gibraltar – Faith Torres Age: 22 Hometown: Gibraltar
Faith Torres is 22-year old biomedical scientist finished her degree at Oxford Brookes University. Faith is a strong advocate of mental health among the young people. She is also a classical pianist and loves performing arts. At the finale, Faith also bagged the People’s Choice and Miss Elegance awards.

Miss World Greece – Samantha Misovic Age: 19 Hometown: Chania
Samantha Misovic (Σαμανθα Μισοβιτς) is Former Professional Athlete at Ierapetra, Went to 3ο ΕΠΑ.Λ. ΠΕΡΙΣΤΕΡΙΟΥ, School in Peristeri, Greece and Studied Οικονομικό at Harvard University. She lives in Ierapetra.

Miss World Guadeloupe – Judith Brumant-Lachoua Age: 23 Hometown: Basse-Terre
She earned her master’s degree in management and international affairs from the University of Rennes 1. She represented France at Miss Supranational 2021 in Nowy Sącz, Malopolska, Poland and finished in the Top 24 semi-finalists.

Miss World Guyana – Andrea King Age: 25 Hometown: Georgetown
She also reflected on her Beauty With A Purpose project, PROJECT FLO which seeks to increase financial literacy amongst school children in order to help them make more intelligent, more effective financial decisions. Her incredibly moving and impactful speech won over the audience as resounding cheers were heard throughout the room.

Miss World Honduras – Yelsin Almendarez Age: 23 Hometown: Danlí
She is Business Administration student dazzled the judges with her charisma and intelligence, for which she stood out among the other 16 candidates who aspired to win the coveted crown.

Miss World India – Sini Shetty Age: 21 Hometown: Karnataka
Sini is 21-year-old has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance and is currently pursuing a career as a Chartered Financial Analyst. She is also a keen dancer having practiced since the age of four. She has studied the classical Indian dance Bharatanatyam with renowned dance teacher Padmini Radhakrishnan. Unsurprisingly Sini was also the winner of the talent award during the preliminary events. The Finalists combined raised an outstanding 37,68,640 Indian Rupee (over 47,000 USD) for the Child Help Foundation. The money raised will be used to fund cancer treatment for between 30-35 children.

Miss World Indonesia – Audrey Vanessa Susilo Age: 22 Hometown: Manado
Audrey is 22 years of age and stands 170 cm tall. She is originally from the province of North Sulawesi and was born and raised in the city of Manado to a Chinese-Indonesian father Rudy Susilo and Mother Grace Shella. In 2021, Audrey completed her bachelor’s degree (S1) majoring in Accounting and Finance at Monash University. Currently, she is continuing her master’s degree (S2) majoring in Banking and Finance at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. She has established a non-government organization that she built herself with his friends. The organization is named ‘Reeformers’ which focuses on saving coral reefs and reviving the economy and the potential of traditional fishermen in the outer islands of Indonesia.

Miss World Iraq – Balsam Hussein Age: 26 Hometown: Baghdad
Balsam Hussein is 26-year-old TV presenter and former hair-transplant specialist Balsam Hussein is the newly crowned Miss Iraq 2022. The coronation night was  held in Erbil, Northern Kurdish region last July 28th 2022.

Miss World Ireland – Ivanna McMahon Age: 27 Hometown: Barefield
The 27 years old originally  from Ennis in Co Clare, studied medicine at University College Cork and graduated in 2020. She went on to do her internship at Cork University Hospital and focused on cardiology and neurology. She then went to University Hospital Tralee to work in surgery and she remained there during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Miss World Italy – Rebecca Arnone Age: 20 Hometown: Turin
Rebecca Arnone is 20-year-old from Turin is a Biology student at the University of Turin and works as a model. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys painting, writing short stories and listening to metal-rock music. On her crowning, Rebecca said: “My will is to succeed in showbiz and therefore I really want to thank Miss World Italy Organization for giving me such a huge opportunity. I am so thrilled about representing my country at Miss World, it’s a great honour for me”.

Miss World Jamaica – Shanique Singh Age: 25 Hometown: Kingston
Shanique Singh is 25 years of age and a medical student at the University of the West Indies. At the competition, she also won the Beach Beauty and the Talent competitions. Shanique Singh hails from Old Harbour in St. Catherine. She attended Marlie Mount Primary School and graduated from Ardenne High School. The stunning Jamaican beauty is a student at the University of the West Indies studying medicine and surgery and planning to become an obstetrician-gynecologist.

Miss World Japan – Kana Yamaguchi Age: 24 Hometown: Toyama
Kana Yamaguchi is 24 years of age and a licensed teacher and model. She bested thirty other finalists including her sister to win the crown. On winning her crown, Kana took to her official social media as she wrote, “If only I could support myself, I faced myself for a year with that thought, and over the last two years, I got my revenge on this Miss World. Inheriting the baton from the wonderful past representatives of Japan and keeping in mind the thoughts of the finalists who fought together, I will continue to devote myself to the world tournament.

Miss World Kazakhstan – Tomiris Kakimova Age: 24 Hometown: Astana
She graduated from the Gumilyov Eurasian National University with a degree in international law and received a master’s degree in law from the Kokshetau University named after Abai Myrzakhmetov. Tomiris has been fond of dancing since childhood and participated in various competitions, being the winner of the National Dance Grand Prix.

Miss World Kenya – Chantou Kwamboka Age: 24 Hometown: Kisumu
Sharon Obara is 19-year-old said: “I’m humbled to have been the one bestowed the honor to represent Kenya at Miss World. I am still in awe of the support and love that is still coming my way. The journey has just but began.” “I vow to do my best, lead with my heart, continue the Miss World legacy and most importantly touch twice as many lives through my Beauty with a Purpose project.”

Miss World Lebanon – Yasmina Zaytoun Age: 20 Hometown: Kfarchouba

She is 20 years old and journalism student who had competed in Miss Universe 2022 and Miss World 2023. Yasmina is currently a third-year student studying journalism at Notre Dame University-Louaize in Zouk Mosbeh. She also has a TV presenter certification from Al Jazeera Media Institute in Doha, Qatar. Yasmina hosts a show on her Instagram called With Yasmina Show featuring well-known personalities such as Enjy Kiwan, NourAldin, Paula Yacoubian, and Lana Daoud.

Veralyn Vonleh is a public administration student at African Methodist Episcopal Univerisity will now go on to represent Liberia at Miss World 2022.

Miss World Luxembourg – Léa Sevenig Age: 22 Hometown: Luxembourg City
She is Luxembourgish, and is originally from Luxembourg-city. She is currently a student at the Paul Bocuse Institute in Lyon (France) and did all her schooling at the Lycée Vauban in Luxembourg. She enjoys acting, and performed the role of France Gall in the play “Gainsbourg – Gainsbarre” at the age of 16. She also had the opportunity to sing on stage in this play. Later, she would like to start a marketing company specializing in catering.

Miss World Madagascar – Antsaly Rajoelina Age: 23 Hometown: Analamanga
Antsaly Rajoelina is 23-year-old holds a degree in Business Administration and is fluent in four languages. Her Beauty with a Purpose project focuses on raising the voice for victims and survivors of sexual abuse. Antsaly’s project also contributes to the fight against sexual violence.

Miss World Malaysia – Wenanita Angang Age: 26 Hometown: Kuala Penyu
Wenanita is going to advocate about hippotherapy, which is a form of horse-riding therapy, to rehabilitate autistic children and persons with cerebral palsy. She said she was captivated to learn how horse riding helps these children to improve their balance after listening to a briefing by doctors at the Hospital Mesra Bukit Padang here. Wenanita holds a bachelor’s degree in information science systems.

Miss World Malta – Natalia Galea Age: 26 Hometown: Valletta
The 23 year old lawyer and model will represent Malta in the next edition of Miss World. Natalia Galea stands 5’8″ tall. She was a semifinalist at Miss Supranational 2018 pageant and the second runner-up at the Miss Mediterranean 2019 beauty pageant.

Miss World Mauritius – Liza Gundowry Age: 24 Hometown: Port Louis
A resident of Port Louis, the 24-year-old Liza Gundowry works for a British Education Consultancy firm which helps students access tertiary education at the University of Oxford and/ or the University of Cambridge. Liza holds a Master’s degree in African Studies from the University of Oxford, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages with International Relations from University College London and Colegio de México. Besides her academic endeavours, she has an avid interest in performing arts and presenting. She has worked for MTV in London, as well as within the Mauritian media.

Miss World Namibia – Leone van Jaarsveld Age: 26 Hometown: Swakopmund
Leone Van Jaarsveld was crowned 1st Runner Up at the Miss Namibia pageant. She will proudly represent Namibia at the Miss World pageant early next year.

Miss World Nepal – Priyanka Rani Joshi Age: 24 Hometown: Kathmandu
She graduated with BA in Hospitality and Recreation Marketing Operations. She was 1st runner up in En Vogue 2016 – House of Fashion and later did an internship at M&S VMAG. Since then, she has worked as the Marketing Officer at Anita Jewels.

Miss World Netherlands – Amber Koelewijn Age: 17 Hometown: Bunschoten
Amber’s campaign centers on anti-cyberbullying. She said “Cyberbullying is something I have experienced a lot in the past. I really want to show that you don’t have to be discouraged by online bullying, and that people who experience this are not alone”.

Miss World Nicaragua – Mariela Cerros Age: 22 Hometown: Ocotal
Mariela was also awarded the Beauty with a Purpose Award after each of the 12 candidates presented their projects at the final. Mariela is a Bachelor of Marketing student and enjoys high intensity training and judo. She has also been a volunteer for the past two years.

Miss World Nigeria – Ada Eme Age: 24 Hometown: Abiriba
Ada Eme advocates for empowering young women and children in her country through education. “I strongly believe that education gives us a fighting chance and a voice, and I believe this is the true essence of beauty and who I am as an individual”, she quotes.

Miss World Northern Ireland – Daria Gapska Age: 20 Hometown: Belfast
The 22-year-old nursing student, who was named Miss Nu Delhi at the competition before taking the top spot, was one of 24 women competing.

Miss World Panama – Kathleen Pérez Coffre Age: 23 Hometown: Changuinola
Kathleen is 22 year old a respiratory therapy student from the province of Bocas del Toro. She is also a volunteer for Yo Pinto Una Sonrisa, a Foundation that supports families in remote areas of the country which have limited access and resources. To date they have served over 20,000 people.

Miss World Paraguay – Dahiana Benítez Gatzke Age: 20 Hometown: Encarnación
Law student Dahiana Gatzke took home the Miss Mundo Paraguay 2022 title. Dahiana hails from Encarnación and is 20 years of age. On winning the crown, Dahiana quoted, “I feel very excited, proud to be able to take the crown to Encarnación and also excited to be able to go to England next year. I am going to prepare myself with everything, with the team and the organization. This is the first edition of them, so nothing, to give everything.”

Miss World Peru – Jennifer Barrantes Age: 23 Hometown: Ucayali
Jennifer Barrantes is 23 years of age. The stunning Peruvian beauty is a commercial aviation graduate and a business owner. An animal rights advocate, Jennifer also bagged several awards including Best Smile, Miss Yolett, and Top Model.

Miss World Philippines – Gwendolyne Fourniol Age: 22 Hometown: Himamaylan
She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the Philippine Women’s University and she pursued a bachelor’s diploma in economics at Oxford Brooks in London, England. Her mother grew up in poverty as a former beneficiary of the Educational Research and Development Assistance (ERDA) Foundation, which sends underprivileged children to school. Her mother has shown her the value of education which helps people to overcome poverty. Miss World Philippines have been actively sustaining its Beauty with Purpose projects like Educational Research and Development Assistance (ERDA) Foundation to educate more young people. This foundation supported the education of her mother and siblings. Gwendolyne explains, “If it were not for ERDA, I wouldn’t exist and my mother would still be living in poverty in Negros.” ERDA was founded in 1974 with the intention “that all children and youth have access to quality education and holistic development, in a supportive environment so they can lead a better life.”

Miss World Poland – Krystyna Sokolowska Age: 23 Hometown: Białystok 
Krystyna is a student at the Akademia Wychowania Fizycznego (Józef Piłsudski University of Physical Education) and Uniwersytetu Ekonomicznego (University of Economics). She teaches rhythmic gymnastics and gym classes in her own sports club.

Miss World Portugal – Catarina Ferreira Age: 24 Hometown: Lisbon
Catarina Ferreira was born and raised in Lisbon. She currently holds a degree in Languages and International Commerce and a master’s in marketing. At the age of 7, the stunning beauty moved to France with her family where she later graduated in Letters and International Commerce. In 2019, she decided to return to Portugal to study Marketing in the Masters.

Miss World Puerto Rico – Elena Rivera Age: 19 Hometown: Toa Baja
Her project “Operation Military Care” supports Puerto Rican soldiers who are serving abroad in Poland and Ukraine. Estefanía put together care packages to send to the soldiers with the aim of raising morale and to remind them that we are proud of their service. The packages contain hygiene and health products, messages, drawings from children and food. Elena from Toa Baja is a Fashion Model and owner of the online clothing store Perla Vintage, which handpicks vintage items for its customers.

Miss World Rwanda – Divine Nshuti Muheto Age: 19 Hometown: Kibuye
The 19 year-old, high school graduate, Divine, took to her social media to share, “I’d like to take this time to thank God and my family and friends. Thank you guys for your support and for believing in me. It’s such a great honor to be trusted with the responsibility that comes with the crown!” Miss Rwanda 2022 was crowned Miss Rwanda 2022 and received a brand new Hyundai Venue provided by Hyundai Rwanda, as well as a monthly facilitation of Rwf 800,000 from the Miss Rwanda organisation during her reign, as well as several other prizes from the organisers’ partners. Her ‘beauty with a purpose’ project will also receive funding from Africa Improved Foods (AIF) Rwanda.

Miss World Scotland – Lucy Thomson Age: 23 Hometown: Dunfermline
Lucy started her own non-profit organization in 2020, The BRAvery Trust, which works to provide underwear and menstrual products to people in need. She also founded the Scottish Fashion Association this year. Anja Radic hails from the largest city of Serbia, Belgrade which also serves as its national capital. The 20-year-old is a student at the Faculty of Project and Innovation Management. Her motto for life is, ‘One should not go through life, but grow through life.’

Miss World Singapore – Oh Wei Qi Age: 23 Hometown: Singapore
The 23-year-old artist and entrepreneur suceeded outgoing queen Hailing Ho. She is currently taking up Masters in Design and works as a fashion designer. Last year, she finished in the Top 6 Finalist of Miss Singapore World 2021.

Miss World Slovakia – Sophia Hrivňáková Age: 22 Hometown: Banská Štiavnica
Sophia is 21-years-old and stands at 179 cm tall. She is a student of pharmacy and a professional model and dancer. She has been dancing since she was 9-years-old and eventually became one of the leaders of the children’s dance ensemble. She is excited about starting her preparations for Miss World 2022 and working hard to make the people of her country proud and happy with her performance.

Vida Milivojsa is 23 years of age and hails from Ljubljana. Vida is a dancer and student pursuing a degree in marketing communication and public relations.

Miss World Somalia – Bahja Mohamoud Age: 22 Hometown: Beledweyne
22 year old Finance, Pre-Medicine student and entrepreneur, Bahja Mohamoud is Miss World Somalia 2022. She grew up with a very early passion for medicine, mental health awareness and education, with a particular interest in healthcare within the Somali community. Her beauty with a purpose project aims at launching her own health foundation and medical clinic in her hometown; Beledweyne, Somalia, a remote village that lacks medical access, This goal will be achieved by utilizing a network of medical practitioners via Telehealth and rotational assignments.

Miss World South AfricaNdavi Nokeri Age: 24 Hometown: Tzaneen
She attended Laerskool Tzaneen primary school and completed her high school studies at Hoerskool Ben Vorster. She has a BCom Investment Management degree from the University of Pretoria and was working for an asset management firm at the time of her crowning. Before entering Miss South Africa she had already partnered with different organisations to work towards the lessening of educational inequality in South Africa by helping to increase computer literacy in underdeveloped schools and to fairly distribute the necessary resources learners need to be successful.

Miss World Spain – Paula Pérez Age: 26 Hometown: Castellón
Paula Pérez is 26-year-old with a degree in Medicine and Surgery and she works as a resident Doctor in the emergency department of La Ribera Hospital. She sings, plays the piano and practiced ballet since she was a child. Paula also collaborates with the Little Wish Foundations to fulfil the dreams of children with serious or terminal illnesses.

Miss World Tanzania – Halima Kopwe Age: 23 Hometown: Mtwara
Halima Kopwe is a mother and child advocate. This has included being part of the “Together We Give” campaign with the Mirakel Organisation which focuses on helping children with hydrocephalus, a build-up of fluid in the brain which left untreated can be fatal. Halima’s Beauty with a Purpose project “My Blood My Generation” focuses on reducing maternal and child mortality rates. Halima realised that loss of excess blood (post-partum haemorrhage) is a major cause of maternal deaths. Therefore, a fundamental part of her project has been campaigning for more blood donors. Halima has been working with different organisations such as the National Blood Donation Centre.

Miss World Trinidad and Tobago – Aché Abrahams Age: 23 Hometown: Santa Cruz
Aché Abrahams is 23 years of age and a creative artist, a mental health advocate, and social activist. Abrahams bested 16 other finalists to win the national crown. Ache is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Convent and completed an acting program at the Identity School of Acting in London. She works as a model and is the marketing/social media manager for her family’s construction company.

Miss World Tunisia – Nesrine Haffar Age: 24 Hometown: Béni Khiar
Nesrine Haffar is 22 years of age and hails from Beni Khiar in Cap Bon. Nesrine is a fifth-year medical student at the Faculty of Medicine in Tunis. She is active in the health field, specifically raising awareness of early detection of all diseases, especially breast cancer and diabetes. She also contributed to the core of the associative work to raise awareness of the importance of vaccination against coronavirus.

Miss World Turkey – Nursena Say Age: 24 Hometown: Istanbul
Nursena Say is 24 years of age and an architecture graduate from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. Standing 180 cm tall, Nursena looked absolutely stunning and the contest and was a front runner for the crown from the beginning of the competition.

Miss World Uruguay – Tatiana Luna Age: 22 Hometown: Montevideo 
A Law student, advertising model, activist, miss and entrepreneur. Since her college career ahe promotes social justice. With advertising modeling it promotes the growth of more than 40 brands that are now advertising images. Social and political activist, currently working with the team “Nobody Lost” on a draft law for suicide prevention in Uruguay. Also in their own project, IMPACT EDUCATION.

Miss World Venezuela – Ariagny Daboín Age: 26 Hometown: Maracay
Ariagny Daboin is 25-year-old with a degree in Clinical Psychology from the Bicentennial University of Aragua. Ariagny uses her training as a psychologist to participate in different social activities for children at risk. This has included offering free training to the children to increase their self-esteem and security. After her crowning Ariagny said: “There are no words to describe everything I felt last night… It was a magical moment that changed my life in the blink of an eye.”

Miss World Vietnam – Huỳnh Nguyễn Mai Phương Age: 23 Hometown: Đồng Nai
Huỳnh had an excellent educational background as she placed second in the English language at the provincial level in 2016, and the third prize in English at the provincial level in 2017. In the 11th grade, Mai Phuong achieved an IELTS score of 6.5 which many people admired. In addition to studying, Mai Phuong is also a very energetic and confident person.

Miss World Wales – Darcey Corria Age: 21 Hometown: Barry
Darcey Corria is 21-year-old from Barry. She works as a carer, hairdressing assistant and model. In support of Beauty with a Purpose, Darcey held a successful afternoon tea fundraising event to celebrate International Women’s Day. She is also a dedicated volunteer for Race Equality First. Her work for the organisation has included organising a free weekly fitness class for women of the black, Asian and ethnic minority community.

Miss World Zambia – Natasha-Joan Mapulanga Age: 25 Hometown: Lusaka
Natasha-Joan Mapulanga is 25-year-old. An International Relations & Development Analyst who lives with DRIVE for The Attainment of Her Goals. She belongs to Central Province of Zambia and says on Central Province “the amount of significance that it has in Zambia’s history. It borders with others provinces and is also considered the brain place of the national movement party”.
