The official Sashing Ceremony for Miss Grand International 2023 was held in Hanoi, Vietnam. The delegates were given their country’s sash by the outgoing reigning queen Isabella Menin Miss Grand International 2022 from Brazil. In addition, Vice Preisdent of MGI Madam Teresa Chaivisut and President Mr Nawat attended this event. The spectacular and creative Vietnamese culture with opening number and the grand production where the delegates introduce themselves. Lastly, all the contestants were dressed in their spectacular formal evening gowns custom made by designers from their respective countries.
African Delegates
African contestants are Miss Grand Angola Angela Tanuzi, Miss Grand Egypt Mariam Khatab
Miss Grand Ghana Kitava Yvettlana Amankwaa, Miss Grand Nigeria Boma Dokubo, Miss Grand Seychelles Shaniah Dick, and Miss Grand South Africa Gugulethu Mayisela. Despite only having 6 representatives from Africa, the African ladies did a phenomenal performance during sashing ceremony. Miss Grand Angola was the show starter gave high energy presentation equally importantance of representation.
