The 94th Edition Miss France 2024 was the 94th edition of the Miss France pageant. The competition will be held on 16 December 2023 at the Zénith de Dijon in Dijon attended by 5,000 fans and watched by 7.5 million on television. Indira Ampiot of Guadeloupe crowned Eve Gilles of Nord Pas-de-Calais as her successor at the end of the event. The selection of the regional winners from all around France and their French territories was held between June and October 2023. In total, 30 candidates have been confirmed to compete at the prestigious Miss France beauty pageant. The 2024 edition will also be the final edition of Miss France under the leadership of President Alexia Laroche-Joubert. The presenters for the show are Jean-Pierre Foucault and Cindy Fabre. This year, the judges panel included all-female from previous Miss France winners to French celebrities. The Top 5 finalists were selected 50% by the judges sores and 50% by the Public Voting through SMS texting. Each delegate was awarded an overall score of 1 to 15 from the jury and public, and the five delegates with the highest combined scores advanced to the top five. The delegates with the sixth and seventh highest combined scores were afterwards designated as the fifth and sixth runners-up, respectively, despite not advancing in the competition. In the case of a tie, the jury vote prevailed.

Miss France 2024 Ève Gilles is 20-year-old young woman, She was crowned Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais , in front of 5,200 spectators and at the end of a high-tension evening. The election took place at the Arena indoor stadium in Liévin. Eve Gilles is a second year MIASHS degree student (mathematics and computer science applied to the human and social sciences) in the hope of becoming a statistician. Gilles’s victory comes less than a week after a court ordered a French broadcaster and television production house to compensate two previous Miss France finalists for secretly filming them and showing their bare breasts on air. Both women, the court found, had been filmed in changing rooms “without their being informed.” The Miss France beauty pageant is facing accusations of embracing ‘woke’ values after selecting a winner with an ‘androgynous’ appearance with a pixie haircut. Eve Gilles, a 20-year-old representing Nord-Pas-de-Calais, emerged as the jury’s choice during the final held in Dijon, attended by 5,000 fans and watched by 7.5 million on television. She became the first contestant with a pixie cut to claim the coveted crown, challenging the conventional image of long-haired beauty queens. Despite being 3rd spot in the Public Voting, Eve had the highest scores from the judges which led her to win the coveted crown.

Question: What would you say to a child who is a victim of school harassment?
Eve replied: Harassment, whether it is academic or not, we can suffer from everywhere. No matter what is done by presenting me to the Miss France. I did not think I would be criticized on my choices such as my body that I do not choose. Moreover, I thought I would be more bothered by my haircut. I will simply say I know that words hurt more than gestures. I will know how to recover from it my life, it does not stop it is enough that we must go ahead and especially to talk about it to an adult.

At her young age, Audrey Ho-Wen-Tsai does not lack ambition. If she dreams of winning the Miss France crown , the youngest in the competition wants to become an agent in sustainable and green marketing . In addition to being sensitive to the environment and ecology, Audrey Ho-Wen-Tsai is passionate about dance, entertainment, singing, travel and social networks . Very attached to Guyana, the bubbly brunette will ensure she promotes her territory throughout her reign. “I also want to represent the youth of this territory because they are too often frowned upon so I would like to give another image,” she assured at the microphone of France Guyane , a few hours after her triumph. To achieve her goals, Audrey Ho-Wen-Tsai will not forget to follow her motto: “Positive attracts positive!” The young Audrey Ho-Wen-Tsaï, who grew up in Kourou, is destined to become a school teacher. The youngest child of three, Audrey had to convince her parents to participate in the Miss France competition at such a young age. Audrey received the highest votest from the Public Voting but was ranked 4th by the judges panel.
