Miss Mexico 2023 was the 5th edition of the Miss Mexico held on April 15, 2023, in Morelia, Michoacán. Top 32 official candidates from all over the country who competed for the prestigious title. At the end of the event, Karolina Vidales, Miss Mexico 2021 from Michoacán, crowned Alejandra Díaz de León from San Luis Potosí as Miss World Mexico 2023 who will compete in Miss World 2023, to be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, at the end of this year. Karolina Vidales Miss Mexico 2021 from Michoacán represented Mexico at Miss World 2022 beauty pageant held in Puerto Rico. She gave an excellent performance, and she finished in the Top 6 Finalist. Mexico had successful placements at the Miss World contest with the recent Miss World 2018 winner Vanessa Ponce de Leon becoming the first Mexican woman to clinch the iconic blue crown.
Alejandra Díaz De León Miss México 2023 has graduated with Bachelor’s Degree in Language and Literature. She is an international pageant titleholder of Miss Globe International 2019 Winner. Alejandra is the founder of Once Upon a Time Org which is an organization dedicated to the literary education of children following the quote “A home without books is like a body without a soul” – C. Alejandra Díaz De León was a front-runner for the national crown ever since the beginning of the competition. The newly crowned Miss Mexico 2023 Alejandra Díaz De León’s court includes, Miss Supranational, Miss United Continents, Top Model of the World, Miss Global City, Miss Costa Maya International, Miss Elite World, and the International Coffee Reign.
