Bangkok, Thailand – All seventy-seven delegates from around the country arrived to participate in the extravagant Welcome Ceremony and Press Conference. The theme for Miss Grand Thailand 2023 pageant is Thai Heritage Of Pride, to raise awareness about the LGBTQIA+ community who have been marginalized by the government. Most of the supporters and fanbase of the Miss Grand Thailand and Miss Grand International beauty pageant belong to this community and this year was to bring equality. On 6 April 2023, the Welcome Ceremony was held at Show DC Hall, Bangkok. All the candidates made special, colorful, vibrant, and unique costumes to showcase their personality, character, and advocacy. This year the host Province is Chiang Mai located in Northern Thailand where the activities will take place from 6 April until 16 April 2023. The important Preliminary Competition, National Costume, and Grand Coronation events will all take place from 22 to 29 April at MGI Hall, Huai Khwang. Introducing the Grand Heart Crown, the heart of grand, was designed by Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil, Chief Executive Officer of Miss Grand International Public Company Limited to celebrate the 11th year of Miss Grand Thailand and Miss Grand International beauty pageants. Inspired by the love and instead of gratitude that everyone has given to Grand with unity along the way the Thai nationality beauty pageant stage has been recognized around the world and can proudly say that Miss Grand is Thailand’s number one stage. The crown is made of 24K gold and decorated with pure genuine diamonds and green gems such as Green Sapphire and Lemon Quartz, which this year is special in Lady Touch, a symbol of peace on the crown. can be removed as a brooch Dress up in important events for every occasion, for a crown of honor Grand Heart, the heart of Grand, approximately 1,200,000 Thai Baht (US Dollars $35,231).
