Miss Thailand 2023 (Thai: นางสาวไทย 2566) is the 54 edition of the Miss Thailand beauty pageant and the first year organized by TPN Global Co., Ltd. under cooperation with Tero Entertainment. This year’s theme is “The Ultimate Precious” which symbolizes the sweet, strong, and smart characteristics of Thai women. The initial pageant activities were decided to be done in the province of Phatthalung in Southern Thailand. The Preliminary Competition was held on 17 March 2023 at Chaeng Watthana Hall, Central Chaeng Watthana, Nonthaburi, Thailand. This year, forty-seven representatives of the 77 provinces were selected for the national contest. Miss Thailand 2022, Manita Farmer of Phuket crowned Miss Chiang Mai Karn Chonnikarn Supittayaporn as her successor at the end of the event. Miss Thailand World 2023 Karn Chonnikarn Supittayaporn will represent Thailand at Miss World 2023 in the United Arab Emirates. Miss Thailand World grand coronation event was held on 19 March 2023 at Nonthaburi, Thailand.

“GOD DIAMONDS”, was inspired by the concept of “from local to precious”, and combines the design with the pattern of Thai traditional weaving fabric. Thai traditional weaving clothing from each region, each province has its unique beauty, style, and culture deeply rooted in the color, material, and technique incorporated into the fabric. This standard has been passed down from generation to generation, learning valuable knowledge to form the rich Thai culture to the present day. This exquisite blue diamond crown was designed and manufactured by Mr. Chawalit Chommuang from the GOD DIAMONDS brand.
Background about Miss Thailand World 2023 “Karn Chonnikarn Supittayaporn” from Chiang Mai, a charming girl, 23 years old, stands at the height of 172cm 5’7.5″ tall. Karn works as a pharmacist at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Chiang Mai University. She can communicate in four languages: Thai, English, Korean, and sign language. An experienced beauty queen on stage presence. She has the ability to be a guest speaker, MC, and student club president, and doing various activities at both the university and many social activities. During the national pageant, she also won three special awards: Miss Healthy Beauty By Siaminnohealth.co.,ltd, Best of Landmark Portrait and Photographer and Media Favorite. She is not new to the world of pageantry as she has won Miss Chiang Rai 2020, Miss Chiang Mai 2021, and Miss Chiang Mai Thailand 2023 gave her the opportunity to represent her home province on the national stage.
“I am possible, everything is possible and don’t let limitations limit our abilities.” A project she started in 2019 to develop the potential of people with disabilities in various areas such as hearing, sight, or physical. She was inspired as president of the Student Club of Chiang Mai University by doing activities with children who have hearing impairments at the Anusarn Sunthon School for the Deaf in Chiang Mai Province. “Let’s come together and change Impossible to I am possible together.” She learned sign language to communicate with people with hearing impairment. Currently, she works as a pharmacist at Chiang Mai University and she wants to help more people through her advocacy.
2nd Runner Up “Bella Arabella Sitanan Gregory” Miss Thai Phatthalung from Miss Thailand Phatthalung Organization, is a beautiful 20-year-old girl, height 181 cm, a half-Thai-British girl. Growing up in the Netherlands through raising from a Thai family Studying for a bachelor’s degree at the Faculty of Service Innovation Bachelor of arts program in service innovation (BSI), Thammasat University. Can communicate in 3 languages Thai, English, and Dutch. In her free time, she likes dancing (Manora), playing sports, and doing social activities (CSR). She will represent the kingdom of Thailand at the 71st edition of the Miss World beauty pageant scheduled for late 2023 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
