The world of pageantry has been improving, changing, and adjusting to modern times in recent days. Due to the current instability in Ukraine, the national pageant has planned to choose the winner through online voting. For the first time in the history of this national pageant, the Miss Ukraine Committee Veronika Shchiptsova chairperson has made a public announcement regarding this news. She is resilient and aims to do a physical pageant despite the military aggression on the country. It will be a great chance for Miss Ukraine to get global attention and recognization regarding the current affairs of her country while competing at the international contest. According to the chairperson, the audition and selection of the finalists were done both in person and online. There will be Top 15 delegates competing for the national title of Miss Ukraine. This will be the first time in Ukrainian pageant history, that fan voting by the general public will decide the winner. The online voting fundraising will be donated to the children affected by the war. Due to the safety and security of all the finalists, the final will be held online via missukraine.ua. The winner of Miss Ukraine 2023 will participate in an international contest like Miss World 2023 in the United Arab Emirates and two runner-ups will be sent to Miss International and Miss Earth respectively.
