Cairo, Egypt – The grand coronation night of the 8th edition of Miss Eco International 2023 was held on 3 March 2023. Vietnam’s Nguyen Thanh Ha was crowned Miss Eco International 2023 by the outgoing and beautiful Kathleen Paton Miss Eco International 2022 from the Philippines at the end of the Grand Finale in Triumph Luxury Hotel Cairo. Miss Eco International (formerly named Miss Eco Queen in 2015 and Miss Eco Universe in 2016) is a beauty pageant held annually by delegates from certain countries and regions, held since 2015 to campaign for greening the Earth and promoting environmental tourism in each country and Egypt, the host country of the competition. Its main objective is to promote the importance of saving our planet environmentally in addition to marketing tourism across the world. This competition focuses on the wellness of the mind, body, and spirit of all the candidates that represent all the countries from all over the world. The Swiss Inn Resort is an art deco-styled resort hotel that stands on the shores of the beautiful Red Sea. The hotel has 401 rooms spanning three floors, and on-site facilities, including free Wi-Fi, conference/banquet facilities, a tennis court, squash, and a gym. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, tea & coffee making facilities, a mini bar, and satellite TV.
The organization has congratulated Recipients of special awards during the preliminary competition of Miss Eco International 2023. Miss USA, Sydney Salinas was named Best in Evening Gown. Venezuela’s Johanna Aponte won the Miss Eco Elegance award while Mexico’s Andrea Torres Pérez bagged the Miss Eco Top Model title. The event started with all 31 delegates in the opening number wearing colorful dresses. The host announced the Top 21 semi-finalists’ names in random order. Miss Eco International also awarded continental titles to Russia (Miss Eco Asia 2023), Belarus (Miss Eco Europe 2023) and Argentina (Miss Eco Latina 2023). The continental winners have now become the ambassadors of goodwill in their respective regions.
