Miss Cambodia is training in the Philippines for Miss Universe 2022
The beautiful and charming Miss Universe Cambodia 2022, Manita Hang is currently in the Philippines preparing with the Filipino pageant mentors from Kagandahang Flores Camp. Yesterday, she celebrated her 24th birthday with her Filipino trainers and friends. Cambodia has never been placed in the Miss Universe pageant since its debut in 2017; regardless the Miss Universe Cambodia organization is focused and concentrated on aiming for their first-ever Miss Universe placement with Manita Hang. Cambodian French beauty Manita has a captivating aura, warm personality, intelligence, and universal appearance which has attracted many international fans who are wishful to see Cambodia create history at the Miss Universe beauty pageant.
To receive rigorous and meticulous training from the legendary Filipino pageant camp Kagandahang Flores Camp based in Quezon City. They have trained many foreign beauty queens who have gone on to win International crowns – Miss International 2017, Kevin Lilliana, from Indonesia, and Miss Earth 2018 Nguyễn Phương Khánh of Vietnam. This camp has also produced many Filipina queens who have won Global titles like Miss International 2005 Precious Lara Quigaman, Miss Earth 2008 Karla Henry, and Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago, only to name a few of their students. The Philippines is a dominant pageant powerhouse country when it comes to beauty pageants, as they have a long history of celebrating and triumphing in International crowns through their passion, wisdom, and dedication to the world of pageantry.
She has recently finished her studies after graduating from CamEd Business School in Phnom Penh with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance. Young and thoughtful Manita is optimistic to make her country proud at the 71st Miss Universe pageant, which is scheduled for next year. She is no stranger to pageants as she had placed 2nd Runner Up in Miss Tourism Metropolitan International 2016, which was held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The winner of the international pageant was Amanda Chalisa Obdam from Thailand; she went on to place Top 10 at Miss Universe 2020. As a multicultural beauty, she is fluent in Khmer, English, and French languages; which could help her build a strong connection with other ladies. Her gorgeous, and exquisite beauty has earned her many praises with high expectations from the pageant spectators. Despite standing at only 168cm 5 feet 6 inches, she had a fantastic stage presence during her national pageant where she was the front runner and the most obvious winner choice. The professional training she will receive from Kagandahang Flores Camp which is renowned for its Pasarela Runway training. She will gain knowledge, develop her techniques, be more confident, and be more capable of giving a compelling presentation on the stage. Miss Cambodia Manita is a dark horse in this year’s competition due to their track record of Cambodia at Miss Universe. Everyone’s eyes are on Cambodia this year to shine in Miss Universe 2022.
